Step-by-step explanation:

(Assume that ∠EDC,∠GDA,∠ECF,∠EBH,∠BCF,∠ABH are all right -angled)

Area of ΔDEG = 1/2 * 30 * 20 = 15 * 20 = 300m²

Area of ΔECF = 1/2 * 60 * 50 = 30 * 50 = 1500m²

Area of ΔADG = 1/2 * 100 * 20 = 50 * 20 = 1000m²

For ∠CBH,∠BCF are right-angled , height is CB only .

∴ Area of Trapezium BCFH = 30(50+40)/2 (By the formula of are of a trapezium , and height is BC)

                                               = 30 * 90 / 2 = 30 * 45 = 1350m²

Area of ΔABH = 1/2 * 40 * 40 = 20 * 40 = 800m²

∴ Area of the polygon = (300 + 1500 + 1000 + 1350 + 800)m²

                                      = 4950 m²
