Question .) Find the area of quadrant of a circle where the circumference of circle is 144 cm .

★ Answer.) Circumference = 2πR

→ 2πR = 144

putting π = 22/7 ,We get Radius ( R ) = 252/11

Area of quadrant = (π R^2)/4

→ Put R = 252/11 in the above formula

Area of quadrant = 412.19 m^2

Hey..

Circumference of a circle = 2πr

⇒ 144 = 2 × 22 / 7 × r

⇒ 44r = 1008

⇒ r = 1008 / 44

⇒ r = 252 / 11

Now,

We know that ;

Area of quadrant of a circle = πr² / 4

⇒ \frac{ \cancel{22} \: {}^{ \cancel{2 \: }} }{ \cancel{ \: 7}} \times \frac{ \cancel{252} \: {}^{36} }{ \cancel{11}} \times \frac{ \cancel{252} \: {}^{126} }{11} \times \frac{1}{ \cancel{4} \: {}^{ \cancel{ \: 2}} } \\ \\ ⇒ \frac{36 \times 126}{11} \\ \\ ⇒ \frac{4536}{11}

Hence, the answer is 412.36.
