Find the area of quadrilateral ABCD whose measurement are AC=48,BF=20,DE=10cm.

divide the area into 2 triangles

∆ADC:
ar(ADC) = ½ × AC × DE
= ½*48*10
= 240 cm²

∆ABC:
ar(ABC) = ½ × AC × BF
= ½*48*20
= 480 cm²

total area = 240 + 480 = 720 cm²
