Then,

• Area of first Rectangle = l × b = lb

Now,

According to Question :-

• Length of new rectangle = 2l

• Breadth of new recatngle = 2b

Then,

• Area of new rectangle = 2l × 2b = 4lb

So,

From this we conclude that if the side of a rectangle is Doubled then Area becomes four times .
