by pythagoras theorem,

50^2 = 48^2 + other side^2

2500  = 2304 +other side^2

2500-2304 = other side^2

196 = other side^2

14= other side

Now,

area of rectangle = length *breadth

area of rectangle  = 14*48

area of rectangle = 672m^2

i hope this will help you

Hey!

______________________

Length of one side (width) = 48 m
Length of diagonal = 50 m
Length of another side (length)=?

Using Pythagoras Theorem - :

H^2 = B^2 + P^2
50^2 = B^2 + 48^2
2500 = B^2 + 2304
2500-2304= B^2
196 = B^2
B = √196
B= 14 m

Thus, length = 14 m

Area = Length × Breath
Area = 14×48
Area = 672 m^2
