We have to find the area of the rectangle

The formula to be used is

Area = length × breadth

The breadth is assumed to be 'b'

According to the question, length is thrice of the square of breath

Which can be written as

length = 3b²

Putting the values of length and breadth in the formula

Area = 3b² × b

        = 3b³

The area of the rectangle will be  3b³.

Given:

Breath =b

Find area of rectangle

According to the question it is given that

length is thrice of square of breath it means we can write is as:

l = (3b)²= 9b²

Here the formula of area of rectangle is

Area of rectangle = l × b

given that  l = 9b²

and b=b

Area of rectangle= 9b² × b

Area of rectangle = 9b³

Hence  area of rectangle is 9b³
