First for any operation we have to keep the units same. So, lets convert both length and breadth into cm.

1m = 100 cm
5m = 500cm. 5m 60cm = 500 + 60 = 560cm

3m 40cm = 300 + 40 = 340 cm.

So, now find their product. 560 x 340 = 190400 cm square
