let

breadth:-x

length:- 2x-5

perimeter of rectangle:-2(l+b)

2(l+b)=110

2(x+2x-5)=110

2(3x-5)=110

6x-10+110

6x=110+10

x=20

__________

length:-35m

breadth:-20m

___________

area:-l*b

35*20

=700 sq m

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Let breadth be x

so length = 2x - 5

now perimeter = 2(l+b) = 110 given

so

2(2x-5+x)=110

2(3x-5)=110

3x-5=110/2

3x-5=55

3x=55+5

x=60/3

x=20

Now we know breadth = 20

length = 2 × 20-5

= 40-5

= 35

area = l × b

20x35=700

Area= 700cm^2
