HEY MATE YOUR ANSWER IS
Area of a rectangle = length × breadth
=) 12 × 2.5 =) 30 cm^2
Perimeter of a rectangle =) 2( length + breadth)
=) 2 ( 12 + 2.5 )
=) 2 × 14.5
=) 29 cm.

Let the breadth be x cm
length = 12 cm
perimeter of rectangle = 2 (l+b)
42 cm = 2 ( 12 + x )
42 / 2 = 12 + x
21 = 12 + x
21 - 12 = x
x = 9
Therefore breadth = 9 cm
Area of rectangle = l * b
= 12 * 9 cm sq
= 108 cm sq
length = 12 cm
perimeter of rectangle = 2 (l+b)
42 cm = 2 ( 12 + x )
42 / 2 = 12 + x
21 = 12 + x
21 - 12 = x
x = 9
Therefore breadth = 9 cm
Area of rectangle = l * b
= 12 * 9 cm sq
= 108 cm sq
