  • Area of rectangle is 12.95 cm².

Step-by-step explanation:

To find:-

  • Area of rectangle.

Solution:-

Given that,

  • Sides of rectangle are  \sf 2 \cfrac{5}{6} cm and  \sf 4 \cfrac{4}{7} cm .

We know that,

Area of rectangle = Length × Breadth

Let the length be \sf 2 \cfrac{5}{6} cm.

And Breadth be  \sf 4 \cfrac{4}{7} cm .

So,

 \longrightarrow \sf 2 \cfrac{5}{2}  \times 4 \cfrac{4}{7}

 \longrightarrow \sf \cfrac{17}{6} \times  \cfrac{32}{7}

 \longrightarrow \sf \cfrac{544}{42}

 \longrightarrow \sf 12.95

Therefore,

Area of rectangle is 12.95 cm².

 \sf \: Length  \: of  \: rectangle  \: = 2 \frac{5}{6} cm \\

 \sf \: Breadth \:  of \:  rectangle \:  = 4 \frac{4}{7}  \\

 \sf \: Therefore,

 \sf \: Area  \: of \:  rectangle \:  = l × b

 \sf \implies \: 2\frac{5}{6}  \times 4  \frac{4}{7}  \\  \\  \sf \implies \:  \frac{17}{6}  \times  \frac{32}{7}  \\  \\  \sf \implies \:  \frac{544}{42} .....
