Answer:

a) area of rectangle= l*b

=> 14m25cm=14.25m

,2m30cm=2.3m

area of rectangle a is = 14.25*2.30=32.775cm²..... (1)

b) area of rectangle= l*b

=>10m10cm= 10.1m

,3m30cm = 3.3 m

area of rectangle b is =10.1*3.3=33.33cm²..(2)

as area of rectangle a is 32.775cm² and area of rectangle b is 33.33cm²

hence, rectangle a has the lesser area
