We know,

1 ha = 10,000 m²

[ "ha" represents hectares ]

Area of Rectangle

= ( length × breadth ) square units

= ( 42 × 35 ) m²

= 1,470 m²

= ( 1,470 / 10,000 ) ha

= 0.147 ha

Hence, the area of rectangle is 0.147 hectares.
