Given :-

  • A rectangular park which is 2 3/4 meter long and 3 3/4 meter borad.

To find :-

  • Area of rectangular park

Solution :-

  • Length of rectangular park = 2 ¾ m

  • Breadth of rectangular park = 3 ¾ m

As we know that

→ Area of rectangle = l × b

Where " l " is length and " b " is breadth of rectangle.

According to the given condition

→ Area of rectangular park

→ l × b

→ 2 ¾ × 3 ¾

→ 11/4 × 15/4

→ 165/16

→ 10.31 m²

Thus,

  • Area of rectangular park is 10.31 m²

Extra Information :-

  • Area of circle = πr²

  • Circumference of circle = 2πr

  • Perimeter of rectangle =2(l + b)

  • Perimeter of square = 4 × side

  • Area of square = side × side

  • Area of rhombus = ½ × product of diagonals

  • Area of Parallelogram = base × height

  • Area of trapezium = ½ × sum of parallel sides × height

Given :-

  • Length = 2 ¾

  • Breadth = 3 ¾

To Find :-

  • Area of Rectangular park.

Solution :-

So,

  • Length = l.

  • Breadth = b.

\dashrightarrow{\boxed{\sf{Area \: of \: rectangle = l \times b}}}

Values :-

\longrightarrow\sf{2 \dfrac{3}{4}  \times 3 \dfrac{3}{4}} \\  \\ \longrightarrow\sf{ \frac{11}{4}  \times  \frac{15}{4} } \\  \\ \longrightarrow\sf{ \frac{165}{16} } \\  \\ \longrightarrow\sf{10.31  \: {m}^{2} }

Thus,

  • Area of rectangular park = 10.31 .
