Given :-

  • The length of a rectangular park =  2 \dfrac{3}{4} m long.
  • The breadth of a rectangular park =  3 \dfrac{3}{4} m broad.

To Find :-

  • The area if a rectangular park.

Solution :-

We need to convert the length and the breadth in simple fraction.

 \implies length = 2 \dfrac{3}{4}  \: m \\   \\  \implies lenth =  \dfrac{11}{4}  \: m \\   \\ \implies breadth =  3\dfrac{3}{4}  \: m \\  \\  \implies breadth =  \dfrac{15}{4}  \: m

Now, we have to find the area of the field.

We know that,

Area of a rectangular field = length × breadth

 \implies \dfrac{11}{4} \: m  \times  \dfrac{15}{4}  \: m \\  \\  \implies \frac{11 \times 15}{4 \times 4}  \:  {m}^{2}  \\  \\  \implies \dfrac{165}{16}  \:  {m}^{2}  \\  \\  \implies10 \dfrac{5}{16} \:  {m}^{2}

Hence, the area of the triangle is  10 \dfrac{5}{16}
