find the area of rhombus ABCD with vertices A(2,0),B(5,-5)C(8,0) and D(5,5)

1 st diagonal=10 units
2 nd diagonal= 6 units
area = 1/2 * d1 * d2
        =  1/2 *10*6
        =  5*6
        =  30 unit square

diagonal AC = √{ (2-8)² + (0-0)²}
= √{36 + 0 } = 6 unit

diagonal BD = √{(5-5)² + (-5-5)²}
= √{0² + 100} = 10 unit

we know,
area of rhombus = 1/2 × product of diagonal
= 1/2 × diagonal AC × diagonal BD
= 1/2 × 6 × 10
= 30 square unit
