Heya mate,
Here is your answer,. ⬇️⬇️
__________
We have, perimeter of the rhombus is = 60 cm.
Now, its one side = 60/4 = 15 cm.
Now, we get that the two diagonals divide the rhombus into 4 right triangles.
Now, we have, 24/2 = 12 cm.
Now, let the other diagonal be x.
Considering one of the 4 triangles and putting in the pythagoreas theorem,
(x/2)^2 + (12)^2 = (15)^2
=> (x/2)^2 = 81
=> x/2 = 9
=> x = 18.
Thus, other diagonal = 18 cm.
Therefore, area will be
= 1/2 * 18 * 24 cm^2
= 216 cm^2
➡️ Hence, the area of the rhombus is 216 cm^2.
