find the area of rhombus if the measure of one side is 26 cm and one of the diagonal is 48 cm​

* As we know that in rhombus all sides are equal

_ let's take a rhombus named ABCD ....

* The diagonal AC divides the rhombus ABCD into two equal triangles

* for triangle ABC we have ,

s = 26 + 26 + 48 ÷ 2 = 50 cm

* area of triangle = s (s - a) (s - b) (s - c)

= 50 * 24 * 24 * 2

= 240 cm^2

* so the area is 2 * area of triangle ABC

= 2 * 240

= 480 cm^2
