find the area of rhombus which has each side 15cm and one of whose diagonal is 24cm​

area of rhombus is L×B

=15×24

=360sq.cm

Answer:

Area of rhombus= 1/2× diagonal 1× diagonal 2

The diagonals of rhombus are perpendicular bisector

Hence if will divide the rhombus into 4 triangles

Now apply Pythagoras theorem in any one triangle

AC²= AB²+BC²

15²= 12²+BC²

BC²= 81

BC= 9CM

Diagonal 2= 9×2= 18cm

Area= 1/2× 12×18

= 108cm²
