Given :-

  • Length of diagonals of a rhombus are 12 cm 16 cm

----------------------------------------------------------------

To Find :-

  • Area of the rhombus

----------------------------------------------------------------

Solution :-

Area of the rhombus :-

\large \red \bigstar \: \boxed{ \green{\bf Area_{(rhombus)}= \frac{d_1 \times d_2}{2}}} \\

Here

  • d₁ = 12
  • d₂ = 16

Substitute values in formula :-

\longmapsto \sf Area = \frac{12 \times 16}{2} \\

\longmapsto \sf Area =6 \times 16

\longmapsto \sf Area =96 \:  {cm}^{2}

\large \therefore \: \underline{ \bf \pink{ Area \:of  \: rhombus \: is \: 96 \: {cm}^{2}}}\\
