To determine the area of the rhombus we have to follow the below steps as follows-

The area of a rhombus is given as-

Area=1/2×x×y.

Where x is the length of one diagonal=8 cm and y is the length of the other diagonal=10 cm.

So, we can write-

Area=1/2×8×10

Area=40.

The area of the rhombus is 40 Square cm.
