Solution

Given :-

  • Diagonals of the rhombus are 20 cm and 15 cm.

To Find :-

  • The area of the rhombus.

Step-by-Step-Explaination :-

As we know that :-

Area of the rhombus = 1/2 × D1 × D2

Where,

  • D1 = 20 cm

  • D2 = 15 cm

Putting the respective value,

Area of the rhombus = 1/2 × 20 × 15

Area of the rhombus = 300/2

Area of the rhombus = 150

Hence,

Area of the rhombus = 150 cm

Know More :-

Perimeter of Rectangle = 2( L + B )

Perimeter of square = 4 × Side

Perimeter of triangle = AB + BC + CA

Area of Rectangle = L × B

Area of Square = ( side ) ²

Area of Rhombus = Product of Diagonal/2.

Area of Parallelogram = Base × Height.

Area of triangle = 1/2 × base × height .

Solution :-

 \\

⇒ Area = ½ × product of its diagonals

⇒ Area = ½ × ( 20 × 15 )

⇒ Area = ½ × 300

⇒ Area = 150cm²
