Given:

✰ Diagonal of rhombus are 6.5 cm and 4.5 cm respectively.

To find:

✠ The area of rhombus.

Solution:

Rhombus:

A rhombus is a parallelogram with all its sides equal in length.

As we are provided with the the diagonals of the rhombus, so we will use formula to calculate area of a rhombus.

Area of a rhombus = 1/2 × (the product of diagonals)

➤ Area of a rhombus = 1/2 × (6.5 × 4.5)

➤ Area of a rhombus = 1/2 × 29.25

➤ Area of a rhombus = 1/2 × 29.25

➤ Area of a rhombus = 29.25/2

➤ Area of a rhombus = 14.625 cm²

The area of a rhombus = 14.625 cm²
