find the area of rhombus whose one of the diagonal is 15cm in length and perimeter equal to 60 m​

Answer:

Perimeter = 60 m,

So,  length of a side =60/4=15m,

 and Diagonal of a rhombus = 15m,

 As, we know that,

The halves of diagonals and a side of a rhombus from a right angled triangle with side as hypotenuse.

Let the length of the other diagonal =2x.

x2+(15/2)2=152=x2+56.25=225

x2=225-56.25=168.75 x = 12.99

The measure of the another diagonal of the rhombus = 2*12.99 =25.98 m

So, Area of the rhombus =1/2*Diagonal of a rhombus*Measure of the another diagonal 

A=1/2 × 25.98 × 15

A=194.85m2
