Answer:-

Side (let it be base bcz each side is equal to another)=8 cm.

Height=7cm

Area of rhombus=

base \times heightbase×height

= 8 \times 7=8×7

= 56 \: cm {}^{2}=56cm

We know that

Area of rhombus

= \frac{1}{2} \times diagonal \: 1 \times diagonal \: 2=

2

1

×diagonal1×diagonal2

Equating the area.

56 = \frac{1}{2} \times 16 \times diagonal \: 256=

2

1

×16×diagonal2

56 = 8 \times diagonal \: 256=8×diagonal2

\frac{56}{8} = diagonal \: 2

56

=diagonal2

7 \: cm = diagonal \: 27cm=diagonal2
