find the area of right triangle whose hypotenuse is 13 cm and one side is 5cm.

hypotenuse=13 cm
side=5cm
applying Pythagoras theorem..
13^2=5^2+side^2
side^2=169-25
side=12 cm

area =1/2*base*height
area =30 cm^2

given hypotenuse 13 cm and a side as 5 cm
by applying Pythagoras theorem
13^2=5^2+another side^2
169=25+ another side^2
169-25= another side^2
√144= another side
12 = another side

Area = 1/2×12×13
=6×13
=78
so, the area of triangle is 78 cm
