now we know that semiperimeter of triangle is denoted by letter s

thus so s=a+b+c/2

where a,b and c are three sides of triangle.

thus s=10+12+14/2

=36/2

=18

now use herons formula ie

area of triangle=

 \sqrt[]{s(s - a)(s - b)(s - c)}

=

 \sqrt{18 \times (18 - 10) \times (18 - 12) \times (18 - 14)}

=

 \sqrt{18  \times 8 \times 6 \times 4}

=

 \sqrt{144 \times 4 \times 6}

=

12 \times 2 \times  \sqrt{6}

=

24 \sqrt{6}

thus area of require scalene triangle is 24 root 6 sq.cm
