Answer:

2 cm

Explanation:

Length of sides are 7 cm, 8 cm and 9 cm

semi-perimeter =

2

(7+8+9)

cm

S=12cm

using Heuron's formula, Area of triangle

=

S(S−a)(S−b)(S−c)

,where a,b,c, are sides of triangle

=

12×5×4×3

=

4×4×3×3×5

=12

Answer:

Explanation:

using heron's formula

√[S(S-a)(S-b)(S-c)]

a=7cm  b = 9cm  c= 10cm

 S = (a+b+c)/2 = (7+9+10)/2

    = 26/2 = 13cm

so here

 √[13(13-7)(13-9)(13-10)]

=√[13(6)(4)(3)]

=√[ 13 x 6 x 4 x 3 ]

=√[ 234 x 4]

=√[936]

= 30.6cm²

therefore the are of the triangle is 30.6cm²
