Given :- circle radius 3.5 cm and angle of the sector is 90°. .

To Find :- The area of sector ?

Solution :-

we know that,

  • Area of sector of a circle = (angle at centre/360°) * πr² .

given that,

→ Angle at centre = 90°

→ Radius = r = 3.5 cm .

so,

→ Area of sector = (90/360) * (22/7) * (3.5)² = (1/4) * (22/7) * 12.25 = 9.625 cm² (Ans.)

Hence, The area of sector is 9.625 cm² .
