Radius= 6cm
Theta = 100°
Therefore,
Area of sector = πr²theta/360
= 22/7×6×6×100/360 = 79200/2520=31.42cm²

Answer:

31.4 cm^2

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : Radius = 6cm

           \theta = 100 ^{\circ}

To Find: Area of sector

Solution:

Formula of area of sector :\frac{\theta}{360^{\circ}}\pi r^{2}

r = radius = 6cm

\theta = 100 ^{\circ}

So, area of sector = \frac{100 ^{\circ}}{360^{\circ}}\times 3.14 \times (6)^{2}

                             = 31.4 cm^2

Hence the area of sector of radius 6 cm is  31.4 cm^2
