find the area of sector whose Arc length and radius are 20 cm and 8 cm respectively

Area of sector = l× r/ 2

= 20×8/2

160/2

= 80

area of sector is 80 cm²

Radius = 8 cm

Arc length = 20 cm

Find the circumference:

Circumference = 2πr

Circumference = 2π(8) = 16π cm

Find the area:

Area = πr²

Area = π(8)² = 64π cm²

Find the area of the sector:

Arc Length = 20 cm

Area of the sector = ( arc length / Circumference ) x Area

Area of the sector = 20/16π x 64π = 80 cm²
