area of semicircle = πr^2 /2
= 22/7 ×7×7 /2
= 11×7= 77cmsq.

Here is your answer !!

Radius if the semicircle = 7 cm.
Area of the circle = πr²
There fore , area of the semicircle = πr² / 2

So , area = 22/7 * 1/2* 7 * 7
= 77 cm² (Answer)
