Area of whole circle = πr²

3.14 * 2*2

= 12.56m²

Diameter of smaller circle = 2m²

Radius of smaller circle = 1m²

area of smaller circle = πr²

3.14*1*1

= 3.14m²

Area of shaded portion=

Area of bigger circle - Area of smaller circle

= 12.56 - 3.14

= 9.42m²
