Area of square = 12 × 12 = 144 square cm
Area of two quarter circles is equal to area of 1 semicircle.
Area of semicircle = (pi)r×r
= 22/7 × 6 × 6
= 113.14 square cm
Area of shaded region
= Area of square - Area of two quarter circles
= 144 - 113.14
= 30.86 square cm
