Area of largest rectangle
= l × b
= 25× 15
= 375 m^2
Area of central rectangle
= l × b
= 13 × 8
= 104 m^2
Area of 4 small rectangles
= 4(l × b)
= 4(6 × 3.5)
= 4(21)
= 84 m^2
In above working area of 1 small rectangle is 21...
Shaded area
= area of largest rectangle - (area of 4 small rectangles + central rectangle).
= 375-(104+84)
= 375-(188)
= 187 m^2
THEREFORE AREA OF SHADED PART = 187 m^2
