Here, we have to subtract the area of the circle from the area of the square

Area of square = a²

= 25 x 25

= 625cm²

Area of circle = πr²

= 3.14 x 10 x 10

= 314 cm²

Area of shaded portion = 625 - 314

= 311 cm²
