Area of shaded region = Area of rectangle - area of semi circle
Diameter of semi circle = 14cm
therefore radius of semi circle = 7cm
area of shaded region = (l*b) - ( πr² /2)
or, (14*50) - ( 22*7*7*1)/7*2
or, 700 - 77
= 623.
area = 623 cm².

Heya !!!
This is Your answer..
Given :-
A rectangle of 50 cm length and 14 cm Breadth.
Also, there is a semi circle of 14 cm diameter.
Radius = d/2 = 7cm.
The area shaded region = area of rectangle - area of semi cricle
= (lb) - (1/2×πr²)
= (50×14) - (1/2 × 22/7 × 7×7)
= 700 - 77
= 623 cm².
Hence, the area of shaded region is 623 cm².
Hope It Helps..
