First, \: we \: will \: find \: area \: of \: larger \: circle \\ =πr^2 \\ =\frac{22}{7}×28×28 \\ =2464 cm^2 \\ So, \: area \: of \: the \: larger \: quadrant=2464÷4 \\ =616 cm^2 \\ \\ Area \: of \: smaller \: circle=\frac{22}{7}×21×21 \\ =1386 cm^2 \\ Area \: of \: smaller \: quadrant=1386÷4 \\ =346.5 cm^2 \\ Area \: of \: shaded \: portion=616-346.5 \\ =269.5 cm^2
