Answer:

area of rectangle =200m

area of 1st triangle= 56m

area of 2nd triangle = 12 m

area of 3rd triangle = 48m

area of 4th triangle = 4m

area of shaded portion = 200-56-48-12-4

= 200-120

= 60m

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Its a rectangle

So area of whole rectangle = 10×20=200m^{2}(1)

Now

Area of Δ AFE=\frac{1}{2}×base×height

=\frac{1}{2}×14×8

=56m^{2}

Similarly

Area of Triangle EDH,HGC,FBG are 12m^{2},48m^{2} and 4m^{2} respectively

Therefore area of unshaded region= 56+12+48+4

=120m^{2}

From (1)

Area of Shaded region=Area of Unshaded regions(Triangles)-Area of rectangle

=200-120

=80m^{2}

(or) 8000cm^{2}
