area of aayat= 50×14=700
area of half circle= 22/7×7×7/2=77
area of shaded= 700-77=623

area of shaded region = area of rectangle - area of semicircle
=(50x14) - ( 1/2 x 22/7 x (7)^2) [r = 7cm as diameter= 14cm]
= 700 - 77
= 623 cm^2
