\huge{\boxed{\bf{\bigstar{Answer\bigstar}}}}}}}}

Given :

Dimensions of the whole rectangle -

Length = 9. 9 m

Breadth = 6.7 m

Dimensions of the small rectangles -

Length = 4.2 m

Breadth =    \bf\dfrac{6.7-1.5}{2}

Breadth = \bf{\dfrac{5.2}{2}=2.6\:m}

To find :

Area of the shaded region.

Solution :

4 x area of smaall rectangle

Length of each small rectangle = 4.2 m

Breadth = 2. 6 m

Area = Length x Breadth

        = ( 4.2 x 2.6 ) m

       = 10.92 m ^ 2

Area of shaded region = ( 4 x 10. 92 ) m^2

                                     = 43.68 m^2

The required answer is :

\huge{\boxed{\boxed{\bf{43.68\:m^2}}}}}}}

If u needed the area of the rest part of the rectangle, then ,

Area of that portion =

                  area of whole rectangle - ( 4 x area of small rectangles)

Area of whole rectangle = Length x Breadth

                                        = 9.9 x 6.7 m^2

                                       = 66. 33 m^2

Area of that portion = (66.33 - 43.68) m^2

                                  = 22. 65 m^2

[ Hint : we had already find area of small rectangles as 43.68 m^2]

Hope this answer can helps u dear !!
