Answer:

Area of big triangle = 40 m × 29 m = 1160 m²

Area of small triangle = 36m × 25 m =900 m²

Area of the shaded portion = 1160m²-900m² = 260m²

In this fig.

❣Area of outer rectangle = L×B

=29×40

= 1160 m sq.

❣Area of inner rectangle= Length is equal to 40-4=36m

Breadth is equal to 29-4=25m

❣Area of inner rectangle=L×B

=36×25

=900 m sq.

❣Area of shaded region =1160 sq.m - 900 sq. m

= 260 m sq.❣
