Area of shaded region = area of semicircle-area of circle

let the radius of semicircle be n and radius of circle be m

 \frac{\pi {n}^{2} }{2}  - \pi {m}^{2}

n=2m,from fig. diameter of circle is radius of circle

n=2×4=8

 \frac{22}{7 \times 2}  \times 8 \times 8 -  \frac{22}{7}  \times 4 \times 4
