Step-by-step explanation:

given,

a triangle and a circle

Triangle:(right angled triangle, right angled d at Q)

base of right angled triangle=16cm.

height of right angled triangle=28cm.

area of right angled triangle=1/2×b×h

=1/2×16×28

=8×28

=224cm².

Circle:

radius of the circle=7cm

area of the circle=πr²

=22/7×7×7

=22×7

=154cm².

since, asked to find shaded region

therefore,

Area of shaded region=

Area of triangle-Area of Circle.

=224-154

=70cm²

Therefore,the area of shaded region=70cm².
