look there are 4 equal semi circles and 1 square.

side of square= diameter of semicircle.

and side od square + sum of radius of two semicircle= 56

or 2x+x+x=56

x=16

i.e, radius of one semicircle.

now you have side of square i.e, 32 cm

radius of each semicircle i.e, 16 cm

area will be (32)²+4×π×(16)²/2

hope you get it and this will help you.
