Since the Triangle is an equilateral triangle because the Triangle is fixed in a square which have same sizes for its edges.

So the answer is 200cm^2

Answer:

1st we have to calculate ta area of the square ;

20×20=400 cm²

then find CE;

DC/2=10 cm

then we can calculate ta area of triangle situated on both side of the square ;

2×1/2×BC×CE

=20×10=200cm²

to find the area of shaded region

we subtract ta areas of both triangles from ta area of square ;

400-200=200cm²
