We can Notice that ABC is One Quarter of Circle of Radius 8 units

First Let us Find this Area of One Quarter of the Circle

We know that Area of Circle is given by : πr²

⇒ Area of the Circle is π × 8² = 64π

⇒ Area of One Quarter of the Circle is :  \frac{64\pi}{4} = 16\pi

Now let us Find the Area of Semi-Circle with Diameter 8 units

⇒ Radius of Semi-Circle = 4 units

⇒ We know that Area of the Semi-Circle is given by :  \frac{\pi r^2}{2}

⇒ Area of Semi-Circle =  \frac{\pi \times 4^2}{2} = 8\pi

Now let us Find the Area of Small Circle with Diameter 4 units

⇒ Radius of Small Circle = 2 units

⇒ Area of the Small Circle = π × 2² = 4π

Now Subtracting the Area of Semi-Circle and Small Circle from the Area of One Quarter of the Circle we get, the Area of the Shaded Region.

⇒ Area of the Shaded Region = 16π - (8π + 4π) = 16π - 12π = 4π

Option C is the Answer

lucky110009: umm.. please can you tell me how the radius of small circle is 2
Grimmjow: We can Notice from the Diagram that the Diameter of the Small Circle is Half of AB
lucky110009: ... prove it.. bro... notice....is not okay.. I am really stuck on this..help if you prove it
lucky110009: thank you
