Diameter of bigger semicircle= 28 cm

Hence radius = 28/2=14 cm

Now the radius of bigger semicircle is the diameter of small semicirclessemicircles


Hence

Radius= 14/2


= 7 cm

In this question there 3 circles one is with the diameter of 28cm and another two are the diameter of 14 cm.

Indication of circle by the B1 (Big) and S1-S2 (Small) circles;

Total area is= Area of (B1+S1+S2)

Area of B1=\pi14^{2},

Area of S1= Area of S2=\pi7^{2}

So total area is=\pi14^{2}+\pi7^{2}+\pi7^{2}

By solving this we get (\pi =22/7)

2*22(14+7)=924cm^2
