Area of square = l X b
=45X24
=1080sq cm


diametre of semicircle=35
radius of semicircle =35/2 =17.5


area of circle = πr²
=3.14 x 17.5 x 17.5
=3.14 x 35
=109.9sq cm

Being an semicircle we will half it's area
109.9÷2 =54.95

area of the shaded portion=total area -
area of semicircle
=1080-54.95
=1025.05sq cm
