area of square = a*a

                         = 14*14

                         = 196 cm^2

given distance= 3 cm from both the sides. so 14-3-3=8 cm= full stretch=8\2=4 cm = diameter

radius = 4\2= 2 cm

area of four semicircles = 4* 1\2 * π * r*r

                                          = 2* 3.14* 2*2

                                           = 25.12 cm^2

area of small inner square = 4*4

                                             = 16 cm^2

area of flower = 16 + 25.12

                        = 41.12 cm^2

area of shaded region = 196- 41.12

                                      =  54.88 cm^2
