Here, in the question there is one right angled triangle and a semicircle.So to find out the area of shaded part we should do

⇒area of semicircle - area of triangle

➽Area of semicircle = 1/2 π r²

➽Area of semicircle = 1/2 ×22/7×5/2×5/2

➽Area of semicircle = 11×25/28

➽Area of semicircle = 275 /28 cm² 9.821 cm²

➽Area of triangle = 1/2 × 4 × 3 ( note that we used pythagorus theorum to find the height of the triangle )

➽Area of triangle = 6 cm ²

Area of shaded part = 9.82-6 = 3.82 cm (approximately)
